Aracne era una de las mejores tejedoras de Grecia, que alardeaba de ser mejor que Minerva, diosa de la artesanía. Tanto presumió que la diosa bajó del Olimpo para retarse con ella. Aracne mostró en su tejido a los dioses como viciosos e inmorales, y aunque la diosa admitió que la obra era perfecta, el motivo elegido enfadó mucho a Minerva, que rompió la tela de la joven. Aracne, avergonzada, intentó ahorcarse pero la diosa le salvó la vida, aunque como castigo por su conducta la convirtió en araña.
La verdad es que si están hecho un lío, jejejeje, pero seguro que quedan muy chulos puestos!!
